Day 1 - It's 2:30 am on March 21st.  I'm headed to the airport.  My first flight will be from Northern  Virginia (Dulles) to New York City (JFK), from there we fly to Dubai and finally on to Johannesburg, South Africa.  This leg of the trip will take about 24 hours.
